Hello Everyone! For today’s Memory Monday I am sharing one of my favorite memories from my time at MPIS; my first day teaching! My first official day in the classroom was on July 10, 2023 and I was teaching Math to the grade 4’s. This is a memorable day because it was not only my first time teaching alone, but I also had the chance to meet a lot of my students. Despite active involvement in ag education programs, FFA, and other leadership positions I had never actually taught before. Although I was intimidated at the beginning these students made me feel welcomed and helped me along the way.

As you can see from the picture they are all (mostly :D) working hard on their multiplication. You may also notice how crowded the classroom is and some of the students are writing on half pieces of paper or sharing with a friend. When I look back at this picture it is hard to imagine how these kids got anything done without the proper space or supplies, yet they do.

If you want to help these students to have access to their own notebooks, pens, and pencils please visit our website's donate page for our wishlists! (www.amondisavengers.com)
